Indications:

To support Potassium and Phosphorous levels for beef and dairy cattle during the demanding period following calving or when off feed.

Ingredient:

Active Ingredients
Dipotassium phosphate – 176 g
Potassium – 83 g
Phosphate – 100 g

 

Inactive Ingredients
Per Bolus:
Water
Hydrogenated Soybean Oil
Coconut Oil

Format:

12 Boluses per Case
8.11 oz per Bolus

Dosage and Administration:

Administer using the Solvet branded applicator. Give 2 boluses orally, once daily for up to three days.

Administration of Bolus: Remove packaging. Place the bolus in the bolus applicator with the rounded end pointing outward. Grab the cow’s upper jaw with your left hand. Keep the cow’s head at a natural position and a little towards yourself. Gently guide the loaded K Phos-Boost® applicator into the cow’s mouth. When you feel resistance, gently guide the applicator over the tongue. When the applicator is behind the tongue, squeeze the handle to release the bolus. Wait a moment for the cow to swallow and then remove the applicator. Allow access to water.

Contraindications: Not for use in cows for initial treatment of milk fever, with clinical signs of milk fever or laying cows. Do not use broken or damaged boluses.

Storage

Store at or below 30°C. Boluses are sensitive to humidity and should be stored in the vacuum sealed plastic until immediately before use.
