A calcium bolus for cattle designed for rapid dissolution and absorption. Reduces the risk of getting stuck in the esophagus with a double application of a waxy coating.

Indications:

Oral calcium and vitamin D supplement for freshening cows, with fast and sustained release of calcium.
Cal-Boost is a supplemental source of calcium for dairy cows during the demanding period at freshening.
Contains immediate-release calcium and sustained-release calcium plus vitamin D which is necessary for the absorption and metabolism of calcium and phosphorus.
Active Ingredient:

Calcium chloride – 112 g
Calcium sulfate – 53.6 g
Vitamin D3 – 50,000 IU

209 g Bolus x 12
Dosage and Administration:

Minimum Protocol: Give one bolus immediately after calving and a second bolus 12 – 24 hours after calving. Administer using the Cal-Boost branded applicator.

No withdrawal period for meat and withholding time for milk are required when used according to the label.
